On 18 May 2017, VP Bank (Luxembourg) SA and VP Fund Solutions held the "VP Bank Financial Dialogue". Participants from finance, business, the press and politics were present at the «Centre Culturel des Arquebusiers» in Luxembourg to get first-hand information on the latest developments in crossborder banking and investment.
VP Bank welcomed Adrian Hasler, Prime Minister of Liechtenstein as keynote speaker at the event. After his formal address on the chances and challenges of Liechtenstein as a financial centre, he fielded a wide array of questions from the audience. Mr. Hasler emphasised Liechtenstein’s special characteristics for companies and customers while also drawing parallels with the financial centre of Luxembourg.
The Board of Directors and management of VP Bank provided interesting insights into the strategy of the Bank and the fund business in Luxembourg. The subsequent buffet lunch was an ideal occasion to ask questions directly to the speaker and to deepen personal contacts.
The "VP Bank Financial Dialogue 2017" was the third event of its kind and once again helped VP Bank to inform its stakeholders in an open and continuous dialogue on current developments.
VP Bank itself has been present in the Luxembourg financial centre since 1988. VP Fund Solutions is the fund competence centre of the VP Bank Group and has been based in Luxembourg since 1998.
